Dahlia House is the larger of the two new Faculty and Staff rental buildings by Village Gate Homes. This pet friendly building is comprised of 60 units including 1, 2 and 3 bedroom unit layouts. Magnolia House is a 47 unit apartment building situated on the southern end of Dahlia House. Located on the west side of Wesbrook Mall and Ross Drive, Magnolia House features 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units. Both Magnolia and Dahlia House share a central courtyard where residents can enjoy the large open landscape with shared built in BBQs. The units in this project were designed with spacious layouts and high quality finishes including quartz countertops, ceramic tile flooring and energy and water efficient appliances and fixtures. The project supports UBC’s commitment that 50% of the new residential housing on campus be targeted to households where at least one member works or studies on campus.
