The perfect place for kids of all ages to learn and have fun (especially on a rainy Vancouver day). Designed by two of the city’s premiere architects—John and Patricia Patkau—the Beaty Museum has on offer: 800,000 fish specimens; a 600,000-piece entomological collection; and the world’s largest collection of B.C. plants. But the piece de resistance? A 26-metre-long Blue Whale skeleton, fully assembled and suspended in a glass atrium.
